After two difficult years for festivals, the prestigious Primavera Sound returns in 2022 to celebrate its 20th anniversary with more festivals .
Primavera Sound is a music festival that takes place between the end of May and the beginning of June in Barcelona. Over the years it has become one of the most important international festivals and its conditions have made it a meeting point for artists and spectators from different generations.

Due to the pandemic, the 2020 and 2021 editions had to be cancelled, and in compensation mode and to commemorate the 20th anniversary, for this 2022 they have decided to launch a special edition with festivals in six different cities.
Primavera Sound 2022 Dates
Our favorite Barcelona festival is a kind of opening night for the European festival circuit, which starts at the end of May and ends at the beginning of June.
The 2022 edition of Primavera Sound will take place from June 2 to 12 at the Parc del Fórum in Barcelona and some parties will take place in famous nightclubs in the city.

This is the classic version of the Primavera which will take place from June 2 to 4 in the now historic Parc del Forum. Among the names announced on these dates are the massive attack, The National, the Gorillaz, and many others.
From June 5 to 8, the Primavera a la Ciutat takes place, an extension of the festival that takes place in several nightclubs in Barcelona, including razzamatazz, Sala Apolo, Sidecar, Jamboree, and many others.

The line up these days features emerging singers or musicians who are already known in their country, and often the primavera is the springboard that makes their songs become hits. Among them Cuco, Boy Pablo, Drain Gang, Interpol, Phoenix, and many others.

The second week of Primavera features more or less the same artists as the first week. The Festival will conclude with another big event, Le Brunch on The Beach, which will welcome, among others, Nina Kravitz, Amélie Lens and many others.
The events that take place inside the Parc del Fòrum enclosure start at 4 p.m. and end around 6 a.m.

Tickets purchased for primavera Sound 2020 will be valid with the change of date of the festival.
